Tree Specialists
Arborists — tree specialists –focus on tree care and removal. All CT licensed arborists have been tested to ensure they are experts on tree management, including pesticide application and tree removal. In addition, they are required to carry liability insurance — should an accident occur while on our property, they have insurance to cover it.
The Tree Conservancy of Darien strongly recommends that residents use only CT licensed arborists so they’re protected; it’s also a CT state law that only licensed arborists may be used. When considering an arborist, you may want to verify if there are any pending court cases against them. Search for pending cases through this link to the Fairfield County Clerk’s office.
